Week 4: You Done Effed Up, Peter

Let the travels begin! Peter and his lovely ladies are now traveling the globe in their quest for love. And their first stop is... Cleveland. Wah-wah. I don't know why this was so funny to me. How do they decide where to go? Do cities bid for these opportunities? What in the heck is so special about Cleveland? All good questions, I know. Thanks.

Well, now that we're in the Cleveland mindset let's move on and talk about the dates.

Victoria F. got the first one-on-one. I thought it was going to go WAY worse than it did based on her initial reaction that she was getting in a small plane with Peter and flying to their destination. Apparently, she's scared of heights (and a lot of other things). So when they ended up at Cedar Point (home of some of the biggest roller coasters) I thought she was done for. But she ended up having a really fun time with Peter until they got to the portion of the date where Chase Rice performed a little concert for them and they had to dance and make out right in front of the stage. Why is this weird, you might ask. This happens on every season of The Bachelor. Oh, it's weird because Victoria used to date Chase and he was against her coming on the show. So yeah. Kind of weird.

Victoria was nervous to bring this up to Peter and then got super insecure once she did and ran away to hide and cry. But have no fear, they're all good. Peter was happy that she was honest with him and she confirmed that she does not still have any feelings for Chase. So they good. Also, I have thought Victoria was pretty funny since the beginning (even though she cries a lot), but I really like her now. I hope she makes it a ways... maybe I can drop her into my top 4 since I wasn't sure on the 4th slot... I'll think on that.

For the group date, Peter took 13 GIRLS to play football. Like tackle football. Those girls were out for blood and played hard. Mostly because the winning team was supposed to get to go to the evening portion of the date and have extra time with Peter. But unfortunately for everyone, they tied and ALL of them got to continue on. No one was happy about this. This meant that each of them would literally get like 2 minutes with him. How is he supposed to progress any of his relationships when they only talk for 2 minutes at a time. But they didn't even get that long because guess who came back? ALAYA

Oh yeah, shit hit the fan pretty hard after that. She made Peter question Victoria P. (watch your back Alaya, Victoria P. fans are going to hate on you hard after this). I will say that Victoria P. did get put in kind of a weird spot. She DID tell Peter last week that she and Alaya didn't really know each other and had talked for like "3 minutes" before the show. But then she confirmed that they did go to Vegas together. So that's off. But I believe her when she says that they weren't "friends". And he should trust her because she really hasn't given him a good enough reason not to. But because he had originally regretted letting Alaya go and now had even more questions, he asked her to stay. Not ONLY did he ask her to stay but he GAVE HER THE DATE ROSE! She wasn't even on that date! Poor choice, Peter. Poor choice.

So the women were straight-up pissed at this point. But Peter was living in his little bubble and went on another one-on-one with Kelsey. Weird choice. But she was super understanding about him allowing Alaya to return, so he thought things were good. They were not, but we'll get there. First, Kelsey.

Their date really couldn't have gone better. They had a nice time together, she shared some deep history about why she is the way she is, really everything you're supposed to do on one-on-one dates to progress your relationship. So, she's a solid middle of the road girl for me at this point. Will she be there in the end, no. But, she's good for now.

Back to the drama. Back at the house, Victoria F. confronted Alaya because she had been spreading the word about how Victoria used to date Chase and how he was there on her date. Not her information to share, and she's totally come back into the house to start shit. Why else would she have immediately gone home and internet searched everything that was happening on the show? So she could come back and have dirt on the other girls. She's the worst. Who would have thought? I honestly thought she was super boring until last week.

Coming into the cocktail party, Peter was excited and didn't know what he was walking into. Then he got it from all sides. The women are hurt and disappointed and Victoria P. came back swinging. She did not appreciate the way he made her sound like she unfairly influenced his decision to let Alaya go the previous week. Then Victoria F. filled him in on Alaya's gossip about her and wasn't happy to hear that either. So basically, he made a bad call and now he either has to live with it at least another week (because he stupidly gave her the rose) or he has to take the rose back from her.

Alaya came to him all weepy that the other girls were so upset and how maybe it was a mistake for her to stay but she is clearly doing that to make him think she's a nice girl and that, of course, she should stay. Peter, take the out and let her leave. We'll see what happens next week and how this all resolves itself but it's kind of a mess right now.

Sticking with my top 3 at the moment, which is Victoria P. (I think they'll make it through this), Madison (my favorite so far), and Kelley (even though we haven't seen much of her in the last couple weeks)... and I might put Victoria F. in there to round out top 4. We haven't seen much from Hannah Ann since Champagnegate but it's possible she pulls things out and makes it a ways too.

Until next week!
